The lies and manipulation must end!  The management team gave nothing - they were caught stealing vacation time and made it sound like their giving something.  VILE VILE management team!  Their time has come as over a 1000 people a day now tune into our site because of their manipulative actions.  Begin phase 2.  

The Tyrrany of Liars and Thieves Must End!

Enough is enough.  The agency is continuing to flourish underneath the familiar culture of lies and abuse. Policies and procedures meant to define fair treatment are being openly violated and intentionally ignored.  The notion that "we tell you" is reverberating throughout the land. 

The problem is clear.

The agency is incapable of governing itself.

It is time to be rid of the rule of totalitarianism.

A vote of no confidence!

Minimal participation in meetings and surveys signals a vote of no confidence!  Why have the 3 J's not faced any consequence when they have been allowed to destroy the moral of our great institution because management condones their actions?  There is no sign on sincere action for change as employee spy diaries are being used! 

The Vile and The Vicious

We the Majority of the 132 Direct Care Workers demand that the employer recognize the Majority of the 132 Workers and allow Union Representation.  The Vile and Vicious anti-union campaign of fear and intimidation was not left unnoticed by the community and the media outlets.  The employer has been put on watch by this community.  The employer has tarnished our great institution of caring. Its vicious and vile attacks led to threats toward fellow workers, all the while the employer condoned the actions!  The employer deliberately incited anger and division among its employees!  We do not recognize a pseudo advocate to have a voice from those who who incited hatred and division!  We accept only Union Representation!  We will not stop as the idea of Union Representation ripples throughout every department!  We will continue to educate our fellow employees with facts and not rhetoric.  We will continue to stand together until our voice is heard!      

Stop lying! New Employees can Sign Union Cards!

To New Employees:  You can sign a Union Card Immediately upon employment.  The supervisors have been directed to lie to you that you that you cannot sign a card until you have been employed for a year.  Again, this is a lie and it is against the law!   Please read an excerpt from the NLRB Employee Rights as the employer cannot discourage you from joining the union! 

  "The National Labor Relations Board protects the rights of most private-sector employees to join together, with or without a union, to improve their wages and working conditions. If you believe your rights have been violated, or that an employer or a union has engaged in unlawful conduct, you may file a charge through one of our regional offices. Petitions for representation and decertification elections may also be filed at regional offices."  

Who is watching? 734 People daily! That is who!

 The average of 734 people watch our site daily.  The community is still watching and concerned about the actions of the employer or the lack of.  What happened that management was going to "talk" to the employees, another lie?  Of course, that is what they do, because they have gotten away with it for so long.  The employees do a great job for the clients they serve and management thinks their happy.  This says a lot about management, especially that they remain out of touch.  
The truth is for many workers, life is hard.  Working for the employer everyday, it can become quite easy to see the cup half empty, especially watching theirs spill over.  Again, the employer practice their lies and deceit claiming there is nothing to give, yet they throw themselves a big Christmas Party at the local club.  Not to mention the ongoing memberships to the local clubs paid for at the expense of the workers.  The employers actions continue to anger the community.

TODAY'S HEADLINES FROM NEW YORK TIMES:  "Labor Board Backs Workers on Joint Arbitration Cases"  
Excerpts from article: 

"In a decision that will no doubt anger many companies, the labor board concluded that a federal law protecting workers’ right to engage in concerted action trumps any arbitration agreement that bars them from bringing group claims. The ruling applies to nonmanagement private sector workers, union and nonunion, from low-wage restaurant workers to well-paid employees on Wall Street."   

“This is a big deal,” said Professor Alex Colvin, an expert on mandatory arbitration agreements who teaches at the Cornell School of Industrial and Labor Relations. “Mandatory arbitration agreements are so widespread, and this would suggest that many of them violate labor law by barring class actions. I also think the business community will be up in arms because you have federal labor law being applied in a nonunion setting.”

Of course, this pertains to Low-Wage Direct Care Workers!

Nobody is buying the sad story that the there is no money to give while you order the best ingredients to have lunch prepped for a select few while the children we serve are delivered sub standard food!
